Thus, as of today, I don't have much done. But now that I work full time at home, I have managed to make a little bit of progress and I have a feeling that this flick will be done this year. ============== Introduction ============== It all started with a song. Well an instumental song from the movie "Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulin" (if I am correct, the english title is "Amélie") Track #3 of the original sound track: "La Valse d'Amélie" I have the original soundtrack of the movie, and this particular song just really moved me. I had came up with two characters before: Lili and the Frog Prince, but didn't have a clear idea of what would be going on, until I heard the song. I remember listening to it so many times in loop until all the scenes would come up in my head. That was 3 years ago. From then to now, I managed to write a script on paper, which was rewritten maybe 2 times after that. The story? It's a very short and simple one: The Frog Prince will meet the lovely Lili in the forest, but the poor lady has her body stuck in stone (from hip to toes). The Prince will be mesmerized by her beauty and will want to let her out of this enchantement... |
